Reponsibilities
- Drive Ruby on Rails web application lifecycle - concept, design, test, build, deploy, release, maintenance
- Rapid Application Prototyping at scoping stage or in addition to existing app
- Continuous and Zero-Downtime Deployment[*]
- Work directly with Product Owner, Stakeholders, Back-End Developers, Front-End Developers and Product Managers to plan, test, build and release fully usable and thoroughly tested apps
- Continuous Delivery[*]
- Monitor App, Database, Web, Job and Worker Servers
- Maintain Legacy Application
- Write JavaScript Libraries and Plugins
- Skillful elicitation of requirements from Product Owners and End-Users
- Create REST APIs in Ruby and Rails
- Explain technologies, latest trends, potential bottlenecks and solutions to both technical and non-technical product stakeholders
- Write complex SQL queries for mining hard to reach data
- Engagement in regular SCRUM meetings
- Working with QA team to plan and organise
